Through All the Changing Scenes

VERSE 1 Through all the changing scenes of life, in trouble and in joy, the praises of my God shall still my heart and tongue employ. VERSE 2 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, with me exalt His name; when in distress to Him I called, He to my rescue came. CHORUS Taste and see that He is good, the One who hears the poor; the ones who seek Him lack no thing, His mercy is our sure reward. Oh, taste and see that He is good. VERSE 3 The hosts of God encamp around the dwellings of the just; deliverance He affords to all who on His promise trust. VERSE 4 Oh, make but trial of His love, experience will decide how blest are they, and only they, who in His truth confide. CHORUS Taste and see that He is good, the One who hears the poor; the ones who seek Him lack no thing, His mercy is our sure reward. Oh, taste and see that He is good. BRIDGE Fear Him, you saints, and you will then have nothing else to fear; His mercy never fails the soul that finds the Savior near. His mercy never fails, never fails. OUTRO Through all the changing scenes of life, in trouble and in joy, the praises of my God shall still my heart and tongue employ.
