In the Name of Jesus, Rise

INTRO (slow organ, testimony feel) VERSE 1 At the Gate called Beautiful, At the hour of prayer, Sat a man who'd never walked, Carried, laid down there. All he hoped for was a coin, All he knew was need, Till two men looked into his eyes And said, "Look on us, and see." PRE-CHORUS Silver and gold have I none, But what I have I give to you: CHORUS In the name of Jesus, rise! In the name of Jesus, walk! Leaping, praising, entering in, He's alive, He's alive! In the name of Jesus, rise! VERSE 2 All the people ran to see, Astonished at the sight; Peter said, "Why stare at us As if by our own might? The God of Abraham has raised The Servant you denied; By faith in His name this man stands strong, The Author of life, alive." PRE-CHORUS CHORUS BRIDGE Repent, and turn again, That your sins may be wiped away; Times of refreshing are coming From the presence of the Lord today. (choir) Refreshing! Refreshing! From the presence of the Lord! FINAL CHORUS (key change, full choir) In the name of Jesus, rise! In the name of Jesus, walk! Leaping, praising, entering in, He's alive, He's alive! In the name of Jesus, rise! OUTRO Rise... rise... in the name of Jesus.
